How often should you clean your office?

May 27, 2026 · Alina Mejía Giraldo

There’s no single right answer, the ideal cleaning frequency depends on how many people use your space, what kind of work happens there, and the impression you want to give clients. Here’s a practical starting point.

A rough guide by traffic

  • High-traffic (clinics, dealerships, busy offices): daily or several times a week, with daily attention to washrooms and high-touch surfaces.
  • Standard offices (5–25 people): a weekly or bi-weekly clean keeps things fresh, plus periodic deep cleans.
  • Small or quiet offices: bi-weekly or monthly is often enough, topped up with a deep clean seasonally.

Don’t forget the high-touch points

Door handles, light switches, shared keyboards, kitchen surfaces and washrooms are where germs spread fastest. Even between full cleans, these deserve regular disinfection, especially in client-facing and healthcare spaces.

Build a schedule that fits

The best schedule is one you don’t have to think about. We’ll recommend a cadence based on your foot traffic and book it around your hours, including after-hours, so your team always arrives to a clean space. Ask us for a free quote to map it out.
